Long winter...

We are all sick and tired of winter around here! But, we are looking forward to February because we get to celebrate Valentine's Day!

Lauren LOVES playing in her new "kitchen" that she got from Grandma and Grandpa Schlake! She has learned how to turn on the "faucet" and play music. It is hilarious to watch. We have heard this song over and over again. :)

It has been forever since I have posted, I know! We had a terrible week last week when Lauren came down with RSV, which is a really bad cold virus that kept Lauren up all night crying and not eating during the day! Then, this week I had to travel for work, so needless to say it has been pretty crazy around here!

Here are some pictures of Lauren, the one in the rocking chair is pretty special, that chair belonged to her great-great grandfather! She is getting SO big and changing every single day.

Eight months old!

Eight months old today! She is officially sitting up now, and EXTREMELY curious about the world around her. This picture was hard to take because she tried to turn on the ipod!! :)

I'm a little late, but happy new year! 2010 was a year filled with a lot of ups and downs for us, but it will always be my favorite, because it was the year that brought us Lauren! :)

We spent new year's eve at Chris and Jodi's house with the kids. A little different than new year's past, but we had a great time. Here is a pic of Liam and Lauren playing together:
