Toddlerhood

Lauren has been quite a handful this weekend! She is becoming a full-blown toddler - lots of funny times and lots of attitude! She insisted on wearning mommy's scarf and her sunglasses while reading her book. She has plenty of opinions and loves "accessorizing!"

We picked up my parents from the airport on Sunday, so she had fun seeing grandma and grandpa for a few minutes. Now we begin another week of fun... :)

Family fun

Lauren had another fun weekend...yesterday she got to attend "parents' night out" at Mercury Gymnastics (through their daycare) with Abby and Liam and they had a BLAST! The teacher in charge of her said that she was "fearless" and loved playing on everything. We also got to enjoy a nice dinner out with Chris and Jodi so it was fun for everyone!

Today we went to the zoo and saw the new baby monkeys and spent some time watching Nikita swim. We really wish this weekend wouldn't end!

More "Winter" fun!

What an amazing weekend! We spent yesterday at Little Monkey Business again. Today we had so much fun at that park (62 degrees!) and then had fun with the Coen family in the evening. I can't get over this beautiful weather...I hope it continues into Spring!

"Monkeying" Around

We are all feeling so much better, thank goodness!

Yesterday Lauren and I met Sara and Nick at Little Monkey Business and we had so much fun. I love that place (apparently a lof of other people do to...it was really crowded!) I think we will be going back there a lot in the coming years.

Lauren has discovered mommy's iPad and I swear she thinks it belongs to her...she loves the "PBS Kids" app because she can watch Elmo (her new favorite...maybe b-day party theme?)

Winter? Sick

Tim and I have been down with the flu the past two days. We are finally clawing our way out of it, but it has been a miserable few days. Lauren has been remarkably okay. A little cold but nothing like our sickness. She did manage to get outside for a few minutes in this beautiful weather. Hard to believe it is winter!

Hopefully we will be on the mend this weekend and back to enjoying life!
