"Talking"
I tried to capture Lauren's latest "talking" - she has been saying "baba" "dada" and "mama" a lot lately. Instead, I got this hilarious video of her telling me that she wouldn't talk on command!! :)

March for Babies
As you all know, Lauren came into this world a little early. This year, a week before Lauren's birthday, on May 1, 2011, Tim, Lauren, and I are going to walk in the March of Dimes' March for Babies walk in downtown KC. The March of Dimes is committed to helping premature babies and every dime we raise will go towards research and help for other premature babies.
Lauren was so lucky to have excellent care at Children's Mercy Hospital and now is a healthy and happy 9-month old baby! See below for details on how you can help donate towards our walk. Thanks for your support!!

Weekend of fun!
Thank goodness it is finally a little warmer! We had a great weekend - Saturday we went and visited our new friend, Hayes Hudson (born three weeks ago). Sunday we went to the zoo! Lauren loves being outside.
I tried to get pictures of all the kids, but had very little cooperation!! Here are my attempts from our visit and one picture from the zoo (it was really sunny!)

Nine-month Pictures!
Lauren went and had her nine-month pictures today! A special thank you to our friend Sharon for the beautiful outfit that I got for my baby shower. It was PERFECT!! I think we might be slightly addicted to getting her picture taken. :)

Friends...
We had such a great weekend full of seeing lots of friends! Today we went and visited Sara and Nick and had a great time. Nick is such a great friend to Lauren! We got the best pics of them together!!
