Great start to the summer!

We had a fabulous day today, I think this is a good sign for this summer! We went to the zoo and then came home and Lauren played in her new baby pool. I can't wait for the rest of the summer!

Weekend Adventures

What a fun-filled weekend! Saturday we worked on the house and all hung out as a family and Sunday we went to Liam's baptism. We also had fun hanging out with Liam and Abby for a little while on Friday night. Gotta love weekends like this! Here are some pictures of the kids from this weekend.

Lauren's new "ride" and swimming!

Yesterday Tim put together Lauren's new wagon that she got from Grandma Criswell for her birthday, and she loves it!! Here is a picture of her in the new wagon and also a picture of us at swimming last night. :)

Well, the circle is complete...last night Tim and I took the last 12 month photo of Lauren with her little lamb. Again, both of us a little weepy-eyed. :)

Also I have posted a picture yesterday of Lauren with her friends Abby and Liam...yes, he really is 5 months younger!! :)

Birthday Girl!

Well...the day finally came. Today Lauren Sara turned one year old. We can hardly believe it. Tim and I packed up all the bottles tonight and both got a little misty-eyed. Our little baby is growing up so fast.

Her party was absolutely perfect. It was a beautiful May day and everyone we love was here. Lauren loved her cake and was so good about not getting her shirt or even bib dirty! It was amazing! She got so many wonderful gifts and was so happy to spend the day with her friends and family. Many of my family members came from Nebraska and it meant so much to have them here. What a wonderful day we will never forgot.

Today we celebrated mother's day with our best friends, the Coen family. I really don't know what we would do without them. This might have to be a multi-part picture blog post, I have so many pictures to share!

Happy May!

I honestly can't believe it is already May...where did this year go? We had a fabulous start to this May...this morning Tim, Lauren and I walked in the March of Dimes 1 mile walk. March of Dimes supports premature babies and we were so happy to fundraise for this cause close to our hearts! There were a TON of people at the walk and a lot of kids and babies!

I've posted some pictures of us at the walk, and also a very special picture of Lauren in her great-grandpa Criswell's rocking horse. She got to play in this the other day and she loved it!
