Just Swinging Away!

Another fun weekend spent with Grandma and Grandpa Schlake! They watched Lauren on Saturday night while Tim and I went to the KC Sporting game. We had a lot of fun playing outside - I can't get over this weather! We installed Lauren's swing on the tree in our front yard and she LOVES swinging in it.

Our little bunny

Lauren had an extreme amount of energy today for some reason...one more picture for the day. She was walking around in her bunny ears most of the afternoon. She is very excited for the easter bunny to come! She likes to say "hop!"

I got this outfit from a kids thrift store for $5! Pretty good deal if you ask me! :)

Talking and talking (and talking some more!)

Our house has been filled with talking, singing, laughing, and screaming the past few weeks. Lauren has been learning how to really use her voice and is extremely vocal! As we speak she is attempting to take a nap (daylight savings time is not helpful), but instead is upstairs talking to her dolls! :)
Yesterday we discovered an awesome park not too far from our house. I have a feeling we will be visiting quite a bit. I also had Lauren model her church dress for me. She now says "cheese" when you get the camera out. She wanted to also take some photos of me using her play camera and she also had to show off her "uncle" bear she got from Uncle Brent.

Have a great week!

Mack Trucks and Piano Playing

Lauren and I had a "girls trip" this weekend to Nebraska to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Schlake. We survived without daddy, but it is a lot easier with both of us!

She met her first baby calf and he was NOT happy to meet her! She was excited at first but quickly learned that he wanted nothing to do with her. :)

We went to the Lincoln Children's Museum and that is an amazing place. Lauren's favorite thing was the "Mack Truck" and the airplanes. She actually really loved everything. We will be making a trip back soon!

Lauren also loved playing the piano at Grandma and Grandpa's house. We also had a really good time at dinner with David & Ashley, Brent & Debi, and Thurman & Sally.

Now on to our next adventures for the week!
