Lauren had a wonderful first Easter! We went to Nebraska and saw my family. We had an Easter egg hunt with all of Lauren's cousins. So much fun!!

First b-day pics

We had a great time getting Lauren's 1st birthday pictures taken last weekend. Here is a preview of the pictures..we are so happy with how they turned out! There were so many good pictures, this is just a taste of them! :)

Fun with Grandma

Lauren had a visit today from Grandma Criswell and got a cute Easter bunny! Thanks Grandma, Lauren loves it!!

So Big!

Lauren had a great weekend hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa Schlake. She is getting really good at walking around (with help) and is starting to stand alone! I think walking is right around the corner!!

Our little tadpole!

Lauren had her first swimming lesson tonight and she was a natural! She was already kicking her feet and splashing around. I think she is going to be a little swimmer just like mommy! :)

Springtime Dress-up

Lauren got to wear her new springtime dress to church this morning. The 2nd picture is a little misleading...she is not standing on her own quite yet (not for more than 3 seconds anyway), but she can stand while leaning back against the couch!

Fun times...

We had a GREAT day! Our friends Nick and Sara came over for lunch and then we went to the Coen's house for a summer BBQ and played outside. Lauren is wiped out now and fell asleep on the way home. Here are just a few pictures. I think I took over 100 today! :)

The first 11 months...

Looking at this makes me realize just how fast time is flying by...

11 months

We are winding down on the first year...I can't believe it. I cried a little this morning when I was taking these last few pictures. :( I'll try to create a collage of all of her first year pictures and post it today.

Abby came over tonight for a fun "girls night in" - we had a fabulous time! :)

Future Voter and Giggling!

Tim and I went to vote tonight and Lauren got a "future voter" sticker!

We also had a hilarious time while getting ready for bed. Lauren could not stop giggling!



Teeth...finally!

Lauren FINALLY cut her first tooth last weekend! It was a busy weekend - we had a lot of teeth pain, but we also had a great day on Sunday...we went to Deanna Rose Farm and had a picnic. Lauren loved the baby goats and being outside in the beautiful weather!
