Hot Summer Days

I think the heat of summer has officially arrived! We had a nice weekend and tried to stay cool! Today Lauren and I went to the pool and had a great time. Last night we went to Grandma Di Di's house and had a nice dinner. We got to see Grandma's garden and eat some of the yummy veggies from it.

Cotton Candy Dreams

Happy Father's Day! We had a great day today at home hanging out as a family. On Saturday Lauren and I went to Nebraska to see family and go to our cousin's b-day party. Lauren had the best time - they had a bouncy house and cotton candy. She was thrilled and didn't want to leave! Love spending time in Nebraska with family! :)

Fun in the Sun!

We had a nice lazy weekend at home finally! After the crazy schedules from the last two weeks, it was nice to just kick back at home and have fun. Lauren played with her bubbles a lot and her "new" trike that she got from her friend Abby. We are really enjoying the Spring and beginning of Summer. Can't wait for more lazy weekends!

Nebraskan Vacation

Tim and I had a great quick getaway with our best friends last week and Lauren got to spend several days in Nebraska with Grandma and Grandpa Schlake. She loved it and was spoiled! She really didn't want to come home!

It was so nice to get away for a few days and have some time together and I'm so happy that Lauren got to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa!
